Business process and IT analyst


At Merkur, we offer you the opportunity to put your engineering into action and contribute to the success of major projects in various areas of the industry. As a Business Process Expert, you will act as a resource person to track projects when developing or improving IT processes and solutions.

Job Description :
  • Monitor and manage the steps and coordination of projects related to process improvement;
  • Put into action business projects;
  • Conduct studies and assessment of satisfaction guarantee of the important needs of the user;
  • Identify and document business processes affected by changes to business needs;
  • Verify, validate and communicate business needs to stakeholders;
  • Organize and lead User Acceptance Test (UAT) meetings;
  • Perform the drivers designed to meet the needs and objectives of the user;
  • Ensure understanding of the requirements and utility of application development by the team;
  • Create and maintain communication channels for end users;
  • Ensure a good understanding of the solutions deployed by users;
  • Support consistency with global processes and application usage;
  • Propose modifications in order to improve efficiency and reduce operating or maintenance costs;
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing work methods;
  • Animate and facilitate local or global workshops;
  • Lead change initiatives;
  • Monitor new technologies, approaches and opportunities for Merkur.
Requested skills:
  • You have a university degree in computer science, engineering or a related field;
  • You have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or transportation (an asset);
  • You have experience in continuous improvement, project management and change management;
  • You have experience deploying new methodologies, training and support in a professional and technical environment;
  • You have skills in workshop animations;
  • You have knowledge in Agile and PMBOK, an asset;
  • You are bilingual English / French, both oral and written;
  • You are familiar with the MS Project project management software and the Office suite.
