At Merkur, we offer you the opportunity to put your engineering into action and contribute to the success of major projects in various areas of the industry. As an expert in mechanical engineering, you will act as a Reliability Engineer to manage and deploy innovation projects.

Job Description :
  • Manage and complete projects related to the integrity of equipment in the heavy industry environment;
  • Respect budgets and deadlines;
  • Perform failure analyzes;
  • Implement repair procedures;
  • Contribute to data collection
  • Manage the preparation of inspection and maintenance plans;
  • Conduct equipment inspections
  • Set up and analyze performance indicators;
  • Guarantee repair follow-ups in the workshop of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, fans);
  • Work closely with teams of engineers and technicians;
  • Monitor new technologies, approaches and opportunities for Merkur.
Requested skills:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
  • You are a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field of heavy industry or equivalent;
  • You are familiar with API, NACE and ASME standards and standards;
  • You have API certification, NACE, an asset;
  • You have experience of calculations with Compress and Caesar software, an asset;
  • You are able to follow high standards of quality;
  • You are mobile internationally (Fly in / Fly out, 14 days of work for 14 days of vacation).

  • You are recognized for your organization, your autonomy and have strong analytical skills;
  • You have strong skills for teamwork;
  • You are bilingual (French and English) both written and spoken.
