As an expert in mechanical engineering, you will act as a Supplier Quality Manager to manage and direct the resolution of service issues related to product quality.

Job Description :
  • Establish effective communication with suppliers
  • Process service reports related to supplier quality, and document progress according to the established procedure;
  • Require supplier action plans to ensure that problems are corrected at the source;
  • Validate the solutions put in place by engineering and customers;
  • Participate in the commercial negotiation of the application of corrections;
  • Take charge of multidisciplinary action plans during major quality issues involving suppliers.
Requested skills:
  • You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
  • You are a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality and technical project management in a manufacturing environment;
  • You are familiar with quality tools and processes;
  • You have knowledge of methods of continuous improvement (Kaïzen, 5S);
  • You have knowledge of problem solving methods (8D, PDCA, 6M / Ishikawa, 5Whys, ...);
  • You know the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), FAI, FMEA program, an asset;
  • You are comfortable with Office Suite software;
  • You are bilingual (English / French) both orally and in writing.
