Mechanical design engineer

What you’ll do in this role:  

– Develop, design and improve various mechanical systems, equipment and tooling;

– Perform modeling and design using CAD software;

– Define technical specifications for systems based on customer requirements;

– Prepare and coordinate the execution of design mandates;

– Validate, revise and approve design outputs such as drawings and specifications according to manufacturing constraints, customer requirements and applicable standards;

– Work closely with various departments and teams to improve and optimize best practices;

– Provide technical support and help resolve problems;

– Verify and validate good design practices applied to his/her project.

 

Minimum skills required: 

– You have a completed Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering;

– You have at least 5 years’ professional experience in design;

– You have a sound knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing;

– You are mobile and willing to travel to our clients (Centre-Du-Québec, Estrie);

– You have a strong sense of analysis and rigor;

– You stand out for the quality of your communication skills, and you are a team player.
