As an Automation Project Manager, your expertise will be put to use in carrying out strategic and engineering assignments for our clients in the Greater Montreal area.
Here’s what you’ll be doing in this role:
- Participate in the automation strategy mandates of our clients;
- Research and propose innovative solutions to develop specifications;
- Contribute to the design of automation and robotics projects;
- Program industrial robots and automation systems;
- Find solutions to complex problems and integrate them into various equipment;
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices;
- Perform commissioning and provide support at our clients’ sites;
- Maintain good relationships with clients and ensure the progress of the projects under your responsibility.
The minimum skills you must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in automation or automated production;
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role;
- Experience in PLC and HMI programming;
- Proficiency with AllenBradley and/or Siemens systems is a significant asset;
- Experience in equipment commissioning on-site;
- Ability to travel to our clients (Montreal and surrounding areas);
- Excellent communication skills with strong analytical and meticulous abilities;
- Autonomy and ability to propose solutions in complex situations.
