What you will accomplish in this role :
- Organize and plan laboratory activities according to established requirements and priorities, using the summary analysis provided by laboratory project managers to draw up an optimized work plan, taking into account customer needs and available resources;
- Coordinate the human resources, equipment and facilities required to carry out tests;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure availability of vehicles, parts and tools;
- Monitor the progress of activities and adjust planning according to unforeseen circumstances;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of planning, logistics and execution processes.
Essential skills sought :
- Degree in mechanical engineering;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering project management;
- Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders;
- Good computer skills;
- Rigorous, analytical and efficient;
- Knowledge of technical or laboratory environments, an asset;
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
- You are mobile, so you can travel and work on a regular basis at our customers’ sites across Quebec, depending on your opportunities and your personal life;
- You are bilingual (French / English) – fluency in English is required for our international customers and our Quebec customers with international projects.
