What you’ll accomplish in this role:
- Participate in market development monitoring and strategies;
- Collaborate with business units for targeted prospecting;
- Prospecting for new markets and developing new customers;
- Participate in networking and trade shows;
- Present Merkur’s service offering and programs;
- Work in collaboration with operations and human resources;
- Positioning Merkur as a strategic partner for its customers.
Essential skills sought :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management or Engineering;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development in the field of energy, mining or in services offered to manufacturers;
- Proficiency in digital tools and social networks;
- Knowledge of processes and CRMs;
- Analytical and synthesis skills;
- Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Mobility and vehicle ownership for our clients’ trips across Quebec;
- Knowledge and experience of the OEM industry in the mining and energy sectors is an asset
- Bilingualism (French/English) – fluency in English is required for our international clients and our Quebec clients with international projects.
