What you will accomplish in this role:
- Define and analyze customer needs;
- Participate in the choice of technological solutions, materials and manufacturing processes;
- Manage and/or validate engineering, design, manufacturing monitoring and implementation projects for technical solutions;
- Lead engineering execution and product or equipment development;
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization and propose solutions;
- Contribute to the development of new products by designing and modeling parts.
Essential skills sought:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering;
- You have 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry;
- You are proficient in design software;
- Be a member of the O.I.Q. as an engineer;
- You are bilingual (French / English) – fluency in English is required for our international clients and our Quebec clients with international projects;
- You are mobile to travel and work 80% of the time at our client’s site, possibility of teleworking for analyses and report writing.
