What you will accomplish in this role:
- Participate in market monitoring and development strategies;
- Collaborate with business units for targeted prospecting;
- Prospect new markets and develop new clients;
- Participate in networking and trade shows;
- Present Merkur’s service offering and programs;
- Work in collaboration with operations and human resources;
- Position Merkur as a strategic partner for its customers.
Essential skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commercial management, or engineering;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and business development manufacturing services sectors;
- Proficiency in digital tools and social media;
- Knowledge of processes and CRM;
- Analytical and synthesis skills;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Mobility and possession of a vehicle for travel to our customers throughout Quebec;
- Knowledge and experience in the mining and energy equipment sector is an asset;
- Bilingualism (French/English) – fluency in English is required for our international customers and our Quebec customers with international projects.
