What you’ll have to do in this role:
- Help companies implement continuous improvement and Lean solutions
- Execute manufacturing strategy projects
- Design and optimize production lines, plant layouts, flows, and warehousing areas
- Produce optimized plant layout plans considering future capacity requirements
- Participate in operations simulation
- Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement tools
- Carry out productivity diagnostics
- Lead and participate in Kaizen workshops at the operational level
- Use problem-solving techniques
- Manage cross-functional project teams
- Manage projects at operational, tactical, and strategic levels
- Support ongoing projects
- Ensure good customer relations and progress of projects under your responsibility
The minimum skills you must have:
- You have a bachelor’s degree or a DEC in industrial engineering or operations and logistics engineering
- You have at least 5 years of practical experience in industrial or logistics management
- You are bilingual (French and English)
- You have proven experience and advanced knowledge in project management
- You have excellent adaptability skills, and the mobility required to take on challenges at different sites
- You’re good at gathering information from customers to help them achieve their objectives
