As an Automation/Robotics Project Manager, you will play an essential role in supporting a team, both in the management and execution of technical projects. You’ll work in a dynamic, innovative and collaborative environment.
More specifically:
Project management :
- Take charge and steer customer projects in automation or robotics;
- Make recommendations and advise customers on the best solutions for their needs;
- Represent Merkur to customers and ensure a positive customer experience;
- In collaboration with our sales team, analyze customer needs and participate in writing sales proposals;
- Present project progress reports;
- Maintain constant communication with line management throughout projects;
- Participate in the improvement of internal processes and methodologies.
Team management :
- Plan, organize and evaluate team work according to priorities;
- Support and provide technical assistance in carrying out mandates;
- Coach and mentor them to develop their skills and expertise;
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and processes.
Minimum skills you must possess:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Automated Production Management or a related field;
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in automation/robotics;
- You have a good knowledge of project management processes and tools;
- You have significant experience in supervising technical teams;
- You are bilingual French / English – English is required for our international customers and for our Quebec customers with international projects.
- You demonstrate positive leadership and a global vision;
- You have excellent communication skills;
- You are able to work well under pressure.
