We’re looking to strengthen our product development team by recruiting an Engineering Project Manager to lead, mentor and deploy product development engineering mandates at our customers’ sites.

What you will accomplish in this role
- Lead and oversee product development projects;
- Define customer requirements and advise on deployment strategy;
- Collaborate with Merkur’s design, engineering and marketing teams and our customers to ensure project success;
- Participate in design reviews and facilitate DFx workshops (DFMA, DTCQ, etc.). );
- Establish mandates, manage budgets, schedules and resources for projects;
- Ensure governance with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on project progress;
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements;
- Identify and resolve potential issues throughout the project lifecycle;
- Apply best practices in project management and product development;
- Anticipate risks and implement mitigation plans;
- Provide technical assistance and coaching.

Essential skills sought:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in an engineering management position;
- You have the ability to lead workshops, actively engaging participants and stimulating them to encourage innovation and continuous improvement;
- You have excellent planning and organizational skills;
- You have a global vision of the product life cycle, a good knowledge of the product development process and experience in design;
- You have the ability to develop and coach your teams in their project and to mobilize them towards the achievement of ambitious objectives;
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and a high sense of priorities.
- You are mobile and can travel 5 days a week to visit our customers.
