Here are the challenges awaiting you
- Develop, design and improve mechanical components and systems;
- Model and design using CAD software;
- Validate, revise and modify drawings according to manufacturing constraints, customer requirements and quality standards;
- Model in 3D and produce drawings of various mechanical systems;
- Work closely with engineering and technical teams to improve and optimize best practices;
- Develop technical design documentation, such as drawings and CAD modules;
- Participate in the development of mechanical systems by proposing innovative solutions to optimize product functionality and performance.
You are a Merkurian if…
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering OR a technical degree in mechanical engineering combined with experience relevant to the position;
- You have at least 7 years’ experience in CAD design;
- You are proficient in 3D design software (proficiency in several softwares is an asset);
- You are a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
- You have a good knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing.
You are distinguished by the following skills
- You have a strong sense of analysis and rigor;
- You have a keen interest in mechanical design;
- You distinguish yourself by the quality of your communications and your ability to work as part of a team;
- You are innovative;
- You are bilingual in English and French (an asset).
