We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Project Manager to manage the roll-out of a new plant for a client in the United States. You will play a key role in supporting a multidisciplinary team on technical projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring the proper management of equipment and manufacturing process optimisation projects.
Your responsibilities:
• Manage and steer customer projects for its new plant in collaboration with our employees and those of the customer;
• Present project progress reports and governance;
Team management:
• Lead and support a team of technicians and engineers;
• Plan, organise and evaluate the work of the team;
• Provide technical assistance and support for various requests;
• Helping to find solutions;
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, customer requirements and health and safety policies.
Profile required:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automated production management, industrial engineering or other engineering training and experience in managing manufacturing projects;
• Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
• Canadian citizen to obtain a work visa for the United States;
• Knowledge of project management;
• Experience in technical team supervision;
• Bilingual French / English as the position is for 6 months in the United States.
